METANOIA

RPG Metanoia is a 2010 Filipino 3D computer-animated adventure film produced by Ambient Media, Thaumatrope Animation and Star Cinema. It is the first full length Philippine animated film presented in 3D. It was an official entry at the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival. It won the title for 3rd Best Picture, Best Sound Recording and Best Original Theme Song, as well as the Quezon City's Special Citation given for being a Gender Sensitive Movie.

The story is amazing. The main character "Nick" is addicted to computer games and he don"t play outside their house. He also don"t know the games of the filipino like tumbang preso, and agawan base. When they lose against the older ones in the computer shop he was blamed by his friends because of he they lose. His friends cannot play anymore in that shop. Because of that they learn to play outside and know the filipino games. They learn it from the girl that help them to win the basketball game. She is also a player of Rpg Metanoia. The owner of the computer shop that also a player got the most powerful helmet that can control the the players. That helm is a virus that lives in that game because of that they need to defeat the owner of the shop to save the players around the world that affected by the virus.

As for me, this movie is give the other animators that here in the Philippines you can also make a animated movie. They don't need to go to other country to work as animator.

Bad habits

Do you smoke?

If you are. Please stop it right away.

A lot people got killed by smoking cigarettes or tobacco. Mostly men are the one who is smoking a lot. They are continuing smoking even though that is bad for their health.

The government did that every package of cigarette has a label of warning and also it needs to half the size of the packaging of any cigarettes.

An anti-smoking campaign talking about the bad effects of smoking will do no good to most people. The speaker they get is also a victim of bad effect of smoking and under go a surgery. They will give the testimony about their smoking days and they will tell you that don't ever try smoking. Smoking  will lead you to some disease like lung cancer, etc.

The some bad effect of Smoking:
  • Become addicted. Nicotine from cigarettes is as addictive as heroin. Nicotine addiction is hard to beat because it changes your brain. The brain develops extra nicotine receptors to accommodate the large doses of nicotine from tobacco. When the brain stops getting the nicotine it’s used to, the result is nicotine withdrawal. You may feel anxious, irritable, and have strong cravings for nicotine.
  • Hearing loss. Smoking reduces the oxygen supply to the cochlea, a snail-shaped organ in the inner ear. This may result in permanent damage to the cochlea and mild to moderate hearing loss
  • Smoking raises your blood pressure and puts stress on your heart.
  • Smoking destroys the tiny air sacs, or alveoli, in the lungs that allow oxygen exchange.
  • Smoking causes inflammation in the small airways and tissues of your lungs.

As a non-smoker. I'm happy that I don't smoke and I don't wanna get addicted in smoking. Smoking is just a waste of money. I hope that someday the Philippines is smoke free country so that no one will killed by smoking.

Famous Author

Edith Tiempo was born in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. Her poems are intricate verbal transfigurations of significant experiences as revealed, in two of her much anthologized pieces, "Lament for the Littlest Fellow" and "Bonsai." As fictionist, Tiempo is as morally profound. Her language has been marked as "descriptive but unburdened by scrupulous detailing." She is an influential tradition in Philippine Literature in English. Together with her late husband, writer and critic Edilberto K. Tiempo, they founded (in 1962) and directed the Silliman National Writers Workshop in Dumaguete City, which has produced some of the Philippines' best writers.

Destiny!

Do you believe in destiny?
a. YES
b. NO

If your not believing in destiny, I wish you try to believe <3. If your answer is yes were the same answer :). I believe God has a plan for us also destined to other people to met and maybe to someones you will marry in the future <3.

In the movie "Turn Left, Turn Right" shows that if your destined with someone there will be a time that you will see each other unexpectedly or  in different ways like seeing one another in a grocery store or in the park.

In this movie you will get excite because of the story. John Liu the violinist and Eve Choi the translator met in the park fountain when John helps Eve to pick up her papers that have fallen into the fountain. They found out that they had met each other when they were younger at an amusement park, when both their schools had organized a field trip to the same place. They talk to each other until the paper got dried. After that, it began to rain and they ask each other's telephone number. They gave one another their number so that they can call. But because of the rain the numbers that they gave was messed up and they don't recognized what is written on that paper. John and Eve are frustrated about not being able to find each other and decided to take jobs abroad. On the day they are to leave Taiwan, an earthquake strikes, destroying the wall that separates their apartment. Both finally find each other.

After reading you see that if your destined to someone, God has a plan to meet you and love one in the right time. Just don't ever give up finding your destiny <3.

Parasytes

Parasyte the Maxim

For those who don't know the anime, Parasyte the maxim. It was an anime series and they also make a live action just like the story in anime. I did not yet watch the live action and I also not finished watching the anime xD.

The synopsis of Parasyte the Maxim or in Japanese Kiseijū: Sei no Kakuritsu

17-year-old Shinichi Izumi lives with his parents in a quiet neighborhood in Tokyo. One night, worm-like aliens called Parasytes invade Earth, and they take over humans by entering through their ears or noses to get to their brains. One Parasyte tries to crawl into Shinichi's ear while he is sleeping, but the teenager is wearing headphones so the parasyte enters his body through his arm instead! The parasyte named Migi ends up taking over Shinichi's right hand.

Because Shinichi was able to prevent Migi from traveling further up into his brain, both of them are able retain their separate intellect and personality. They end up fighting other Parasytes who attack them after realizing that Shinichi's human brain is still intact. These other Parasytes devour humans as food, and Shinichi ends up fighting them with Migi's help. As the two of them encounter more Parasytes, they end up forming a strong bond as they work together to survive.
Anime
Live action

The live action of parasyte the maxim is cool but when you first watch the anime you will see the difference like the facial expression of Shinichi in live action and from anime. Try to watch the trailer of parasyte the maxim live action : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tArhmbw9Ihc

This anime is very creepy for me because of the animation and the story. When I see their face is separating and the eyes of the parasyte was out it was totally YUUUUCK!

Plagiarism

When I was a young boy I thought that plagiarism is good to do so that your homework or projects are very easy to do. You just copy and paste everything you want from any sites. The students favorite the words ( Copy, Paste, Print or Send). That word make your life easy and time saving for the students who really love to play computer game. They don't realize that they are stealing ideas from other people.

I realize that in our school they hate students that copying someone's idea and making a little bit changes some sentences. Because I make a draft for our project and my professor gave us a topic, when I search for that I just copy everything and paste it in Microsoft Word and print it and gave it to my professor. The day she return the draft I say a notice that "next time don't plagiarize you will fail my subject". That notify me that plagiarism is very bad.

Stealing someone's idea is a crime for some schools like Asia Pacific College (APC). If they caught the students that plagiarize their work, they will get a failing grade.

Plagiarism is the "wrongful appropriation" and "stealing and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions" and the representation of them as one's own original work.
Don't be like him, you will turn to be a Giraffe xD

There are tips to avoid plagiarism:
1.Be familiar in the area that you are talking about. By understanding the subject, you are more likely to write in your own words, rather than restate someone else's definition of this subject.
2.Restate the subject to yourself a couple of times. The key is to understand the material and be able to express its meaning in your own words.
3.Reference your quotes and sources. You must include a bibliography or works cited in your paper. If you use a direct quote from another author's work, then you must quote it and cite it properly.
